Nearly every boy who enters our school has endured at least four major traumatic experiences—what Psychologists call Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). Statistically, this places him at over a 90% risk of ending up either incarcerated, addicted, suicidal, or severely mentally ill—unless someone steps in.

For over 70 years of implementation, with its Christ centred approach, the Wilderness Road Therapeutic Camping Program has done exactly that. Through structure, mentorship, and faith-filled care, we’ve consistently turned the tide—helping up to 85% of these boys go on to live stable, responsible, and meaningful lives.

Our Mission

We are a Christian wilderness-based boarding school program helping troubled boys break free from cycles of rebellion, trauma, and despair.

With structure, compassion, and Biblical values, we guide each boy toward emotional healing, personal responsibility, and a future grounded in faith.
